hmmm i think being able to replace a sailor with a mage and yet still have cannons/catapults would be better. In this way mages would be optional or a trade for better defense but longer sailing days.

Unfortunately, at last news all projects were on hold indefinately.

I've run into games that have sailing.... but what if we added in more demensions, you control the boat, have to hire crews, fix the ship, and give orders, commands and suggestions to the crew and several people can own and get on a boat at once, form companies and guilds even.... and addining in more traveling stuff, you can teleport between hemispheres... but you can actully walk bin the cities with the buttons?

maybe an fun idea to make the sailing system more fun: moving groups of monsters attacking the ships that pass by, for example: a fleet of dread pirates is moving over the vast oceans looking for victims. also possible for the trading system on land if it comes, there it would be groups of goblins or hill giants. it would be fun if these monsters come to trading routes wich are much used so the trading routes must be changed sometimes

AI pirate fleets autogenerated every hour or two are already programmed in. I considered sea monsters as well, but that's a lot of extra work. Maybe later. so what sort of date we looking at for the sailing Well, much of it is created, but still needs tested. However, I'm not ready to jump into that complex of a project quite yet; and I have a first home purchase coming up soon anyway, so we're probably looking at sometime early next year as noted in the email.
