Help Wanted
I would like FMO2 to be more of a community effort than the original was. Besides the flash game, and some of the story, every last bit of code, graphics, and text in the original FMO was my doing. I will post various items that I need help with here; most will not involve coding at all. If you'd like to help out, please post a response. Please do not post new threads on this board or they will be deleted.

I'm not expecting a full band, though that would certainly be welcome, but I suspect there's a lot of players out there much like myself: we have some skill in an instrument or two, and some inclination to do something constructive with it, but never really got around to playing with anyone else. Well, if you'd like a chance to contribute I'd really like to put together a decent soundtrack for FMOv2; preferably better than my midi-synthesizer can manage.
No composition experience is necessary. Just your instrument, the ability to read music, and some direct sound input to your computer (ie: an adapter to plug your guitar into your soundcard, a nice mic for wind/brass instruments, etc). There's some good freeware software I can get you to begin the recording process, and another nice piece of software I can use to put each individual track together. I haven't ever tried doing this before, where each track is recorded independently and stitched together at the end, but I think we can make it work.
All instruments, whether an electric guitar, a cello, or a flute, are welcome. I'm not sure if I'd like to include vocals, but If you're a great singer let me know and we'll see. If you're a good composer and would like to help out on that front, I'd welcome the help there too.
Let me know if interested. If you can send a sample, or direct me to something online, that will be helpful.
